Rumor: Apple To Unveil Next Generation iPad In March

Apple might be planning to unveil its second-generation iPad, at a planned small event to be held in March. Rumors have been widely spread after an unreleased version of the iPad was spotted at a recent held News Corp event. Moreover the upcoming device is being rumored to include near-field communication (NFC) technology.

Macotakara.jp, a blog which has sometimes generated some accurate leads regarding Apple’s upcoming plans reported that the Cupertino-based company “seems to open a small event to introduce the next generation of iPad.” The blog further mentioned that the event might just honor the device as an announcement rather a launch.
