Skiver app helps you choose a good excuse to skip work

It’s funny to me that despite the fact that Americans and Brits both speak English there is a language barrier. I had to get Chris to tell me what “hook snock” meant not too long ago (it’s the same as thumb your nose). Another strange word is Skiver, it apparently means one that skips work by playing sick.

A new app has turned up for Android that is perfect if you need to play some hooky from the office. The app asks pertinent question like how many days do you want off, helps you with your cover story like symptoms for specific ailments, and then it will help you find something to do while you skip work.

The app uses Google Maps to find current activities in the area the user is in. You really don’t need an app to get a good excuse to skip work. Tell the boss you have diarrhea, no one questions diarrhea.

  1. Hey – beautiful blog, seems a pretty nice platform you are using. I’m currently using Blogengine for a couple of my sites but been wanting to change one of them over to a platform like yours as a trial run. Anything in particular you would recommend about it?
